Wii Game Backup…. What you need to know.

Anyone who has spent money on a system like the Wii or PS2 or even the XBOX would like to know that there was an affordable way to backup their games and console. After all those games add up and you make quit an investment in your entertainment buy the time its all said and done.

The average cost for a new Wii game is around $50- and no one has just one game.

Fortunately there are some options out there for people wanting to backup their wii or

XBOX or even their Play Stations. It would be wise to do your due diligence and investigate all you options before just grabbing the first piece of software or hardware you come across.

Why you need to be wary of any backup hardware for your system:

Hardware requires you to ‘add’ something to your console- meaning alter it there fore voiding the warrenty. Not good. And not all copies done with hardware are usable.

What you need to know about software:

There seems to be  so many options out there for software that you can use to copy or backup your Wii and other  games, but about 98% of these are just e-books that tell you where you can go to down load ‘free’ software that makes shotty copies of your games and can rarely be rendered so you can actually use them- these are scams.

There are only two software’s that I have found that actually work- one is priced a lot higher than the other but both seem to artchive the same task with the same quality.

I was skeptical of the more affordable product because I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” but to my surprise it worked quite well I was a little thrown off by the advert page because its so dark but I am glad that that didn’t keep me from getting it. Wii Backup Review

I made copies of all my PS2s and completed my Wii Backup with no trouble, all games have been rendered and I am able to play them on other consoles as well – The most important part is that I did not alter my console so my warranty is still in tack.

note: I have not tried this on any XBOX as of yet but I have to say that the ease and quality that I have experienced so far lead me to think that I would have the same outcome backing up any XBOX games as well.
